About Us
Meet Peak Women
Peak Women was created because women deserve a fitness space where they can feel comfortable, supported, and completely themselves.
At Peak Women, we believe fitness can change lives. Not because it's about looking a certain way, but because feeling strong, healthy, and confident can change the way you show up in every part of your life.
Peak Women is a women-only personal training gym in Troy, Michigan, created to give women a comfortable, supportive place to focus on themselves.
Life is busy. Between careers, families, relationships, responsibilities, and the mental load that often comes with managing it all, taking care of yourself can easily fall to the bottom of the list. And when you finally do make time, the last thing you need is a gym that makes you feel uncomfortable, intimidated, or like you don't belong.
No judgment. No pressure. Just real movement, support, and connection.
Meet Lissa & Nick
Peak Women is owned by husband-and-wife team Lissa and Nick, who also founded our sister gym, Peak Physique.
Together, they've spent years building a personal training community centered around one simple idea: personal training should actually be personal.
As a married couple, parents, and business owners, Nick and Lissa understand how difficult it can be to balance careers, family, health, and everyday life. That perspective has always shaped how they approach fitness and the relationships they build with clients.
But through those years of working with clients and building Peak Physique, Lissa saw an opportunity to create something specifically for women.
That vision became Peak Women.
While Nick remains an important part of the ownership and story behind Peak Women, Lissa's experiences, conversations with women, and passion for women's wellness have shaped what Peak Women is today: a space built around what women actually need from fitness.
Lissa's Passion: Creating a Space for Women
Lissa's passion for empowering and supporting others extends far beyond Peak Women's walls.
Lissa's passion for empowering and supporting others extends far beyond Peak Women's walls.
She has been appointed to the Michigan Board of Physical Therapy, where she helps support and strengthen the physical therapy profession statewide.
Her commitment to serving others has also earned her the prestigious Woman in Action Award, recognizing women who make a meaningful impact through leadership, service, and community involvement.
Whether she's working with clients, mentoring others, serving the healthcare community, or volunteering locally, Lissa brings the same compassion and commitment to everything she does.
When she isn't at Peak Women, Peak Physique, or spending time with her family, you may find Lissa speaking on mental health and domestic violence panels, discussing corporate social responsibility, or participating in community events throughout Troy and Eastern Michigan.
Those experiences have also helped shape the philosophy behind Peak Women.
Wellness isn't only about how much you can lift or what you accomplish during a workout. It's about supporting the whole person and helping women build the strength and confidence to take care of themselves in every area of their lives.
A Gym That Gives Back
Helping people has always meant more than fitness for Nick and Lissa.
Through both Peak Women and Peak Physique, they're proud to support the local community through charitable initiatives, volunteer work, sponsorships, and partnerships with organizations making a difference throughout Troy and Southeast Michigan.
Our community involvement has included:

Sharing fitness education through local interviews and community events
Building relationships with fellow business owners through local organizations
Yearly sponsorship of the Troy Chamber Golf Outing
Hosting a diaper drive for Grace Centers of Hope
